Matanzas Inn Resort and Restaurant gives back to local AMIKids school


FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 17, 2013)—The gift of giving was on the menu at Fort Myers Beach restaurant Matanzas Inn when owner Doug Speirn-Smith dedicated a portion of one night’s special menu sales to AMIkids Southwest Florida. On May 7, Smith presented a $300 check to Windye McNeal, executive director of AMIkids, and John Ingraham, chairman of the AMIkids board.

Following the check presentation, Smith toured the school and pledged to partner with AMIkids on future fundraising events and networking opportunities at Matanzas Inn and in the community.
