Inspiring design and Olde Naples location highlight The Gables on 6th

NAPLES, Fla. (June 13, 2013) – Nestled in the heart of Olde Naples, seven classically designed single-family homes preside gracefully over their 6th Street neighborhood. Out of the seven, only one home remains for sale in The Gables, an intimate, uniquely crafted community located within walking distance from pristine beaches, world-class shopping and five-star restaurants.

Created by Naples Redevelopment, the firm partnered with Jeff Harrell Architecture and MHK Design to preserve an Olde Florida theme that blends the exteriors seamlessly into their landscaped surroundings. For the interiors, the designers focused on a spacious, contemporary approach to fit a modern, Naples lifestyle.

“We were inspired by architectural elements from Naples’ past and those that have been used throughout history in the Lowcountry and beyond,” said Adam Smith, principal of Naples Redevelopment. “We were also the first to bring this row home concept to our local Olde Naples market and it has been incredibly popular.”

Homes at The Gables range from 2,800 to 3,300 square feet with three bedrooms, two-car garages and a pool and spa for each residence. Homeowners are especially attracted by the location and the unique floor plans. The remaining home is 3,300-square-feet and priced at $2.695 million furnished.

With Jeff Harrell and Associates as the lead architect on the project, the residences are designed and built to the highest level, incorporating a great room style highlighted by open floor plans, wood plank flooring, a Miele/Viking or Thermador kitchen package, and professionally designed pool and garden areas.

Residents are a mixture of younger professionals and recent empty nesters.

“I saw a listing for The Gables online and the architecture piqued my curiosity,” said resident Glen Lerner. “As soon as I saw the house, I knew it was the perfect place. The architecture, craftsmanship and finishing work was light years ahead of anything else I had seen in Naples and every inch of the property was maximized for efficiency and use.”

Joel Lipman, M.D. said, “I am so excited to live in my new house in the Gables. The construction is superb, the architectural design is creative and the finishes top notch. Adam Smith was a great builder to work with. Never said no to anything.”

Thomas Detelich bought his home at The Gables more than a year ago.“When we started looking for a home in Naples our criteria included ideal location, exceptional design, and superior quality,” said Detelich. “Our home in The Gables met all of our expectations and more. We are more than pleased with our decision to buy this home. It's been a pleasure working with Adam before and after the
