First K9 Café comes to Third Street S Farmers Market

NAPLES, Fla. (May 6, 2013) – For the first time, dogs visiting the Third Street South Farmers Market in Naples will have their own oasis from the heat and stress of outdoor shopping. The TDK Café, a satellite of Top Dog Kitchen, will debut on May 18 and continue every Saturday through Labor Day weekend weather permitting.

The tented area, located behind Tommy Bahama’s, will feature a cool rest area, mister bottles, fans and bowls of cool water. All well-behaved leashed dogs are invited to meet their fellow canines and enjoy Top Dog Kitchen’s frozen, probiotic packed Ice Cream Pup Cups or a tasty pure peanut butter bone.

Once every month, the TDK Café will feature interesting, fun and informative pet professionals to share with the Third Street South Farmers Market visitors. First up will be Shy Wolf Sanctuary Experience & Education Center on May 18. Volunteers will explain the newly launched Fund a Foot campaign to raise dollars for the eight-foot perimeter fence that must be built around their 20-acre property before Shy Wolf can move to their new home. The goal is to raise $70,000 by Aug. 30.
