“A little more country” comes to Celebrate Bonita! Festival with headliner Easton Corbin

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (March 4, 2014) – Award-winning country music artist Easton Corbin will headline the 15th annual Celebrate Bonita! festival taking place on March 29 in the historic, downtown district of Bonita Springs. The festivities begin at 2 p.m. at Riverside Park and include live music, children’s activities, a chili cook-off, the “Chalk Where You Walk” art competition and much more.

A native Floridian, Easton Corbin won all the breakthrough artist awards at the American Country Music Awards in 2010, including single of the year, music video of the year and artist of the year for his song “A Little More Country Than That.” Corbin is the first country male artist in 17 years to have his first consecutive singles reach number one on the Billboard charts. His current hit song “All Over the Road” can be heard on country music stations nationally.

New this year to Celebrate Bonita! will be the addition of the Corvette Car Club, where classic models will be on display. The Lee County Sheriff’s office will also be showcasing their SWAT vehicles, cop cars and other top-of-the-line automobiles. Community activities and booths will be set up throughout Riverside Park and the Artists’ Cottages at the Liles Hotel will be open.

The celebration is from 2 to 9 p.m. at Riverside Park in the historic district of Bonita Springs on Old U.S. 41 and Pennsylvania Avenue. Admission to Celebrate Bonita! is free to the entire community. Proceeds from refreshment sales will benefit the Bonita Springs Assistance Office. Pets and coolers are prohibited in the park.
