Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida names Paschke director of volunteers

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. (May 28, 2013) – Charlie Myrick, executive director of Susan G. Komen Southwest Florida, recently named Sarah Paschke office and volunteer director. Paschke will be responsible for volunteer outreach and recruitment for the various events and program services that Susan G. Komen provides throughout the year in Lee and Collier County.

“Susan G. Komen has had so many helpful and influential volunteers over the years,” stated Paschke. “My goal is to encourage those individuals to continue to help fight for the cure to breast cancer and also to increase the number of new volunteers to join our efforts.”

Sarah Paschke graduated cum laude from Central Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in Health Administration and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Health Services Administration as well. Before joining Susan G. Komen, she worked as a graduate assistant in Central Michigan University’s physician assistant program and also as a residency coordinator for Michigan State University’s department of surgery.
