Shy Wolf Sanctuary launches "high five" donation program

01/15/2013

NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 15, 2013) – Shy Wolf Sanctuary Education & Experience Center has launched a new "high five" donation program. Donors can sign up to automatically give five dollars per month to Shy Wolf Sanctuary via PayPal or credit card, thereby giving the animals a virtual "high five." The donations will be used toward feeding, rehabilitating and caring for more than 50 animals in need. Shy Wolf Sanctuary is 100% donor supported and volunteer run and relies solely on donations and sponsorships to provide continuing care. To sign up for the “high five” program, please visit http://shywolfsanctuary.com/Help.html.

“We have more than 4,000 fans on our social media page,” stated Nancy Smith, owner of Shy Wolf Sanctuary. “If each of those people signed up for the “high five” program, we would have enough income to feed the animals, provide ongoing veterinarian care and begin saving to build our new facility out in Belle Meade. It costs about $10,000 per month to feed and care for our animals.”

Home to more than 50 animals including wolves, wolf dogs, Florida panthers, foxes, prairie dogs and tortoises, Shy Wolf Sanctuary was forced to close their 2.5 acre Golden Gate Estates location to the public in July 2012, severely limiting the organization’s ability to raise funds. Donations, sponsorships and fundraising will bring them closer to relocating to their new 20-acre facility in North Belle Meade where they can reopen to the public and continue to care for and feed the animals.

Shy Wolf Sanctuary, a non-profit 501-C-3 organization.
